SEX IS GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH, ESPECIALLY YOUR HEART

Researchers have found that guys who had sex at least twice a week had a lower risk of heart disease than guys who only had sex once a month, according to research.

We’ve been told all the good things in life are bad for our hearts: red meat, dairy, bacon (“Mmmm, bacon!”), lounging around on the couch watching sports on TV, soda, beer and alcohol, etc, etc.

Well, according to the Cleveland Clinic, it turns out there’s ONE thing we love that’s actually good for our hearts – SEX.

Sex offers more than a feeling of intimacy or pleasure — it also offers incredible health benefits. Besides the emotional aspects and feelings of well-being, it can be good for your heart, relieve pain and help you sleep restfully. It also can ease headaches, despite common beliefs to the contrary.

Researchers have found that men who had sex at least twice a week were less likely to develop heart disease compared to men who only had sex once per month, according to a 2010 study published in the American Journal of Cardiology.

Sex can also be good medicine for head pain. With sexual activity and climax, there is a release of endorphins, which are natural painkillers. Many people note less migraine headaches. They tend to feel relaxed, at peace with a sense of contentment.

So gentlemen, the next time your amorous overtures are blocked by “Not tonight dear, I have a headache,” pull out your copy of this blog, show it to your wife or partner, and tell her to toss the Advil because you’ve got just what she needs.
